1. Cleveland Browns - Myles Garrett, DE, Texas A&M
I know we are accustomed to the Browns blowing picks but I don't think they mess it up this year. It is clear that Myles Garrett is an athletic freak. This is the right pick for the Browns because almost everyone thinks Garrett is a sure thing in the NFL and what the Browns need right now are sure things.
2. San Fransisco 49ers - Mitchell Trubisky, QB, North Carolina
I don't think he will be an elite QB in the NFL but someone has to make a dumb pick on a quarterback don't they? The hype is there for Trubisky but I just don't see the top end stuff with him. I imagine maybe some good years for Trubisky but he'll never be a QB that leads his team to a Super Bowl.
3. Chicago Bears - Jamal Adams, SS, LSU
The Bears need to remake that defense that everyone used to know and love. So why not start off with a hard hitting playmaker in Jamal Adams. Adams can do almost anything on the field and it really helps to have an elite safety roaming around back there to make big plays for you.
4. Jacksonville Jaguars - Solomon Thomas, DE, Stanford
After Garrett, Thomas is the next best pass rusher this draft may provide. Thomas is a freak and has the numbers to back it up. There is a concern of injury history with Thomas though so that could be his downfall.
5. TRADE TRADE TRADE!!!
Tennessee Titans trade the 5th pick to the Cleveland Browns
Cleveland Browns - Deshaun Watson, QB, Clemson
You must think I'm a Browns fan or something. Truth is I'm not, I actually kind of enjoy watching the Browns lose and them be the punching bag of the NFL. This pick will change that though, that's for sure. If Watson isn't the best QB on the board, then Saturday's aren't for the boys. This pick will turn the franchise around.
